Shamelessly stolen from [livejournal.com profile] ladycat777 who shamelessly stole it from elsewhere, so feel free to steal it from me. Do I have lurkers? *scratches head* I mean besides the people looking for Pink Floyd fans?

New to my journal, been here a while but never comment, or hell, comment all the time -- answer the questions!

Tell me:
-> who you are in 10 words or more
-> a fun thing about you (or 2, or 3, ...)
-> what fics you are currently reading (mine or other people's)
-> what the answer to the Ultimate Question is. (no numbers)
-> and ask any question you want.

I was trying to find an email address today and knew it was on the contact list on one of my emails. I dug around and then remembered that I had another hotmail account but I'd stopped using it once I got into fic (because it had my full name) and started using Crazydiamondsue. I couldn't remember if I had deleted it or not, so I opened it and low and behold was the detritus of Pre-Buffy Sue. It was like a time capsule!

Where my crazydiamondsue@hotmail.com emails tend to read from: "LJ user" or "Excessant" et al and tend to have Subject Lines like - Sue! Beta this or I'll cut you, hor! and RE: Your fic Rodeo - I Never Used to Read AU, but... and Fic Update! Spike/Xander, NC17, FB please!!!, pre-fandom Sue went a little something like this:

E!Online - Sue, have you read the latest on TomKat?

Pier 1 Imports - Sue, we have hurricane glasses!

Classmates.com - Suzanne, 4 new people have viewed your profile!

CooksIllustrated.com - Suzanne, the secrets of Jewish cookery can be yours!

Brighton Collectibles - Sue, buy a matching watch for only $49 with a purchase of...

D.Marie Scrapbooking - Suzanne, it's a been a while. Stickers on sale!!!

Poetry.com - Suzanne, we're looking for new poets. Could that be you?

And, oddly enough - Free Condoms.com, as well. *looks confused*

So there you have it - before the vampire porn and the sudden regression to 14 year old boy ("Dude! Did you see my fic?" "Duuuude! Your fic kicks ass like whoa!") and lengthy discussions on homoerotic subtext, philosophical debates on artistic expression ("to leaking cock or not to leaking cock") and vast numbers of 100x100 pictures of pretty men smooshed together with my name scrawled across them, I was...gasp - a suburban, married 30-something who liked to buy lamps, cook, scrap and read celebrity gossip. I don't know where the poetry thing came from, though, that's just odd. I pretty much don't do any of that anymore (well, except the celebrity gossip, but I get that from Salon now and I occasionally cook. When I can't talk Caza into it.)

So, anyway: delurking day - tell me why you're reading this crap. :)

You do read all of them. I know that for a fact. And you have excellent taste (which sounds bad when I know you've rec'd me, but you know what I mean - the people we like in common.)

I have to go to the grocery later - I'll let you know if today is "Take Yo' Crazy Ass to the Market!" day.

Re: Ultimate question - Caza and I have new cell #'s. I attempted to call him yesterday and a person with a gruff, sleep roughened voice answered and said, "Why the hell are you waking me up?" I snorfle and answer, "What are you doing asleep? Isn't this your Deep Space Nine viewing hour?" A brief pause. Then a *woman's* voice says, "Excuse me?!" Nothing against Caza - she sounded like Bea Arthur. Note to self: check cell # before dialing when you have a crap memory.

Watch it- this was a stealth crazy: pretty petite middle-aged red-head, nice silk sweater, jade bead necklace, totally harmless looking.

However, I did hear the words "Book of the Dead" and "Mark of the Beast" in the first couple of minutes, I just sort of... my reflexes are gone today, Franklin has worked 24 hours of overtime since last Friday.

Julia, usually better at avoiding these things
