New Years Dissolutions

I never make resolutions. I have the attention span of a cat on catnip. So here's a list of things I will really, truly (wink, wink) do this year (mostly) like soon. Maybe.



1) Catch up on my flist and lists, although the scads of ficathons and 12 Days stories make my eyeballs spin.

2) Finish Sunday Morning this weekend. Okay, this one I kinda mean, because I got the sweetest ecard fb from a new reader this morning and it made me wibble. [Edit: Keep in mind, "this weekend" to me, means through Tuesday.]

3) Rejoin Weight Watchers and get back into my size 8's, because I'm tired of their smirks of superiority and lack of elastic or drawstring waists every time I open my closet.

4) Do something with my hair, because I'm bordering on Ted Nugent meets Jesus Christ Superstar with the middle part, long flowing waves of it all.

5) Write the sous chef bad!fic with stoney321, write something sparkly and Spandery with tgray, write a ficathon story as soon as I signup for said ficathon and not the day before it's due, causing me to mutter, "This is crap!" as I'm posting it. Start rubbing up against ladycat777 and secondverse in hopes of writing something with them. Try to entice uberaeryn and karabair into writing something totally silly before they become BNFs and find such things "too tired, really."

6) Find a new job. Word.

7) Try to stop turning every conversation around to Buffy. Oh, who am I kidding?

8) Start putting pennies in my Scooby Doo piggy bank so that Caza, Stoney and I can go visit dovil in New Zealand. I already have $4.60 in pennies - we're coming soon!!!!

9) Consider making Backyard Con a reality.

10) Do something super random and nice for my beta, adis723 (like paying her way to Backyard Con in June.)



And for the love New Year babies everywhere, go read stoney321's Buffyverse cast does The Sound of Music. Angel as Captain Angel Vis Clap, Spike as the singing postulant Spikina, Xander as Xandl, the twirling 16 year-old girl!boy looking for love...holy God, it's funny. And she wrote it for me! Squeeeee!

No it isn't. Kids missed you and walked around picking stuff up and saying you forgot it. I reminded Austin that Caza didn't BRING a PS2 Spongebob game. "Oh."

The image of Austin running down the drive with a Spongebob game crying, "Come back, Caza! Come baaaack!" made laugh, like hard. I just got off the phone with Vinnie and I'm still doing your voice. I used to be funny. Now I just do impressions of you.
