Notes: I rarely like cowboy/western/ranch fic because I grew up with that stuff and either find it cliché or poorly researched. This, however, is wonderful, and Jensen breaks my freaking heart. Great parts for Chris Kane and Danneel, too.

Notes: One of the most original J2 fics I've ever read. Amazing amount of research done on the peoples and ecosystem of the Brazilian Amazon. I won't soon forget Jensen surfing to ground on wreckage, or Jared's understanding of South American cultures. It's a rare fic that makes me think.
