We just had our 2nd earthquake in 24 hours in Oklahoma! I missed the 2 am one, but this one shook so hard my china cabinet shimmied and our light fixtures swayed for several minutes. Everyone I know in the state is on Facebook talking about it...250 updates of "Hey...did y'all feel that?" haha!

That is craziness!

I know! 5.7, the strongest in Oklahoma's history! It freaked the cats and puppies right out, Jess.

I think the continent is going to break apart just like Pangaea did. This theory is based on no research whatsoever!

I trust you -- you made a B in Geology!

Earthquakes in Oklahoma? O_o

I'm glad y'all are okay, sweetie.

It was like a dog talked, or something. I mean, THAT weird. And thank you!

It's weird that it can be felt over such a wide area- that's what you get for living on a sedimentary plain, I guess. Out here over the subduction zone, everything's so busted up that the energy doesn't travel far. Which is good, because Mt. Rainier's getting a 3 at least once a week lately.

Hope everything you love is uncracked.

That is true -- it still blew my mind to jump immediately on facebook, haha, and see people from my hometown 3 hours away posting Earthquake! It was apparently felt in north Texas, too -- they just cannot let Oklahoma have something of its own, haha.

So *very* weird. Maybe 2012 *is* the end of days!!

Glad you're okay.

I think we are seeing portents. I am calling the Winchesters. And thank you!

Ah ha ha - send 'em my way, when you're *cough* done with them. I sure I can keep 'em busy.

It was felt here in Missouri, although not by me :) All my Facebook friends are talking about it. I have know idea why I didn't feel it, our house looks like it could crumble at the slightest wind, let alone an earthquake.

Our house does, too. I was concerned, but it was more big overture, little show this time. At least we don't have to worry about breaking apart and falling into the ocean, haha.

That's all kinds of scary. Glad you're ok.

What's up with the crazy weather lately?

It wasn't quite as flashy as some of the tornadoes I've experienced, but the bizarre factor really gave it added omph. If I were Giles, I would be hitting the books.

If you see a rain of frogs, let me know immediately. I'll start sharpening stakes.

Just glad you're all right. How'd J take it?

We are all ok, although Max was freaked. Jonah slept right through it. It rumbled the living room and dining room most. At first I thought it was a semi trying to go down my little street, haha.

Nothing precious broke I hope!

Nope, all ok!

They get your attention, don't they? But I'll take them over tornadoes any day.

Agreed. It was certainly a new experience, though!

Hahahaha, I am glad I could help with that, hee.

I'm glad it didn't do any real damage to your china! Must have been a bit scary though.

We had an aftershock last night! During a tornado warning! There is graffiti popping up with "Welcome to Oklahoma: home of the Quakenado," haha! And thank you -- my gravy boat is hearty and hale!
