LOL! It is rather creepy. Though I was a 90s teenager. I felt so old when my fourth grade students didn't know Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears.

O_O There's a generation that doesn't know Britney? LOL. I voted in the People's Choice awards for the first time this year (mainly to vote for Alyson Hannigan) and even though I had heard of all of the shows and musicians and movies, I thought they were all childish and lame! (Taylor Swift, Justin Beiber, Katy Perry, etc.) Of course, that's less an ageist thing than a music snob one...

I'm amused and abashed that I perceive Shirley as the "older" female character on the show, when in reality the actress is a year younger than I am.

Jonah is also growing up faster than I'd like. He's watching Diego right now as I prepare dinner. He's fascinated with cowboys and yells "Yee-haw!" every time he sees a horse (ironically enough, this is due to Toy Story, not growing up in Oklahoma with several rodeoing relatives.) Do you Facebook? You should friend me on FB if so -- I'm under my real name. I have LOTS of pics of Jonah there, LOL.
