I got it! This weekend was crazy hectic. How was the party? Good, yes? *snuggles*

It turned out really well. At first I thought it was going to blow. Cherie called me Sat morning and said that they had gotten a sitter (yay!) but they were only going to be able to stay an hour (boo!) So I should expect them at 8:00.

By 8:15, Eddie and Larry and I said screw it and starting eating (you should have seen the cupcakes Eddie and I made - they were straight out of a 1979 Woman's Day halloween decorating recipe. We're so old school.)

By 9:00, we gave up on Cherie & Jen and started carving our pumpkins and watching "Halloween." Well, I put "Halloween" in and said, "I'm watching Buffy while I carve. You guys don't have to watch it." So I half-assed carved (I'm not a good carver w/o a template) while Eddie and Larry made really cool jack-o-lanterns.

Mine was an homage to Cletus the slack-jawed yokel. :)

Anyway, we watched "Halloween" and Larry loved it! (His enthusiasm for OMWF wasn't high.) Anyway, he said, "Are these two eps you've shown me special episodes?" And I said, "No, well, the musical maybe, but IT'S ALWAYS THIS GOOD." Hah!

Jen and Cherie showed up at 10:00 (!!) and we watched "Hush" and gave them S-2 (and I got S-1 back!) then they had to go (they had another party that night. Uh-huh. I rate.) Anyway, more about that later - busy day!

This is HILARIOUS! It absolutely made my day! I laughed so hard... loved so many parts, but the part where Spike holds up the slip? And the YMCA with Xander in the hard hat? I about died.

This is one of my all-time favorite vids ever. Not only clever and funny, but also tells a great story.

I'm so glad you liked it. :) I still have a LONG way to go in figuring out editing and so forth, but I figured that this song and idea was enough fun that just getting the reaction shots in would work. Oh, the YMCA! That scene from "Something Blue" has always amused me with the fact that only Spike and Xander are in the shot the entire time. :) I'm so glad you liked it!

I *love* the part where it says he thought he knew what he liked and Xander's showing boobies with his hands. HAHAHHA!

This whole thing was genius! The build up to the night was just like any scene you see in the movies where they eye each other, drink, talk, then suddenly wake up the next morning and . . .

The most perfect thing about it is every scene, you captured Xander with the absolute perfect expression, and I'm trying to think of a way to describe it other than a "Wait, does this make me gay?" expression. I love the part where he's telling Willow and Anya about it, too, and they're all, "Well, Xander, 'fraid to say so, but well, yeah."

And Xander and Larry! About how to come out!

And Spike just looking like the cat who got the canary through the whole thing!

Yaaaaaaaaaaaay! I'm so glad you liked this. It amused the hell out of ME, but you know...that's not hard.

I've always had a soft spot for the pool fics that spun off of "Triangle," and the shots of them playing a (mostly) amicable game of pool and really talking to each other (for once) make me happy. That I could do something slashy with it...well, that's just the icing.

Xander's constantly questioning things ("The what now?" "How? What? How?" "Ben is Glory?!") so that was the easy part. The whole thing with the earring and the leather pants, though - that was fate.

And Xander and Larry! This was a very easy vid to find clips for.

Oh, and you finally got to see the S/X "kiss" without me acting it out with remotes! (Which is still the classic version for you, I'm sure.)

And you have no idea how big I'm grinning right now that this amused you. *wink*

thought the same thing when I saw the earring and leather part. It was all so very perfect.

Oh, yeah, I was jumping up and down about the kiss! There was a part earlier in the vid, which looked like footage I had not seen before, and I was like omg, is there gonna be kissage????!! You should tape yourself doing the remote act out thing, and have an XS vid with that. Oh! Or splice it with Xander acting out Slaying with cheese sticks, Sam from Benny and Joon making the buns dance, and Homer making the potatoes dance. It could be a fun with phallic objects vid! Though I never thought of potatoes as phallic until now. Um, ew.

my C & P does not work, I cannot write apostrophes, or slashes, and the back and forth arrows do not work. is it this browser, or computer? Huh.

There's "the look" which comes at the "Your whole lifestyle could change at the drop of a hat - wish I could remember you" line with James having having some fun with Nick.

Hahahaha! I should totally do an S/X vid with remotes. I'll be like that Karen Carpenter story with Barbies.

I'm so glad you like it! I'm still learning the whole editing thing, so some of the stuff that works just kind of fell that way on its own. There just aren't enough S/X vids, you know? And I'm glad I could add an extremely giddy one to the pack. As Spike would say, "Thanks, love."

I know! They're really aren't. There are a few great ones, but not nearly as many as there are for S/A or F/B. Of course, there are a lot more clips (and several of those slashy) for those pairings, so that helps...but there could be more with Spike/Xander. I have a serious one I'd like to do, but I'll have to learn more about vidding before that. I hope you enjoy it!

I have good ideas for Spander vids, I even have one with the song Let Me Rest in Peace. I just don't know where to upload them.
