And what an amazing chapter! Xander finally seeing past his own desire and guilt to be able to understand Willow and reject her 'solution'. Did he leave it too late though? Methinks the ritual may already be completed. The fear of loss that Xander feels over Spike and Spike's uncertainty over Xander's feelings for him - so beautifully brought to life in your writing. Damn fine job!!
