stoney321 has already diagnosed why I killed my holly bush even though she's never seen my garden, and she's promised to hold my hand throughout the gardening season this year and keep me from killing any more bushes by overwatering! Maybe I'll come through this experience with some of her gardening know-how pounded into my thick skull...
