I remember the Ron Weasleyness of you! When I started staying at home with Jonah and kind of drifting away from posting on LJ, I REALLY got into HP. I love all ships, canon and non, but I really got into H/D (in fact, a panty porn fic is one of my faves, not so much for the panty as the banter).
Most of my HP friends went through their HP phase slightly before I did. It's been a bit lonely, but I can at least still get them to listen details to the Harry/Pansy fic or Draco/Ginny fic I'm obsessed obsessed with. *g*
