Oh, Brits in Teen Wolf fandom, you're killing me with your "proper" and "whilst" and "meant" and "shall." I know you watch scads of American TV, surely you've noticed that we don't talk like that? You rarely boggled me this much with SPN fic (other than that one time that Jared and Jensen ate chicken fried steak and enchiladas together, but non-Texan-Americans are often clueless about the Lone Star state, so I gave you a pass). Let me put it this way, by the time you write Stiles or Derek saying, "I'm meant to be back at uni in a fortnight, so shall I give you a proper kiss whilst we ring for a curry?" we're no longer in California.
Although I did laugh for 15 minutes in the midst of a HS AU while Stiles appreciated the fact that his high school cafeteria did a decent curry. Wow, that Michelle Obama really DID spruce up the fish sticks and Jell-O! Well, it was a welcome break from curly fries and coffee shops, I'll say that for it.
