I'm glad the graveside scene worked. I wrote it, deleted it, and rewrote it. I started this story to delve into how Buffy's death really affected the Scoobies (I really hated the unspoken, "Oh well, she's coming back, la, la, la" - I felt her death in the The Gift was done so well that just popping her back seemed wrong.) However, this story is about Spike and Xander and how they've changed since her death. All I can say about how I'll handle the Buffy aspect is: it ain't her story.
