I still exist! I just, you know, got sucked into Facebook. I'm sorry -- I have lots of friends from high school and college who don't suck. I've lead a charmed life, haha.
Things and Whatnot
1. My netbook is jacked up because my child spilled water in the keyboard and I have no shift or control keys. I capitalize with capslock and copy and paste from the character map. I know, I should just contact the Geek Squad.
2. Caza had his second back surgery -- a repeat discectomy -- 3 weeks ago. He just started feeling normal again on Sunday. He took 2 1/2 weeks off of work, but he still had his Phd program. He's been stressed, let's just say.
3. Jonah started preschool and, while he seems to be the mean kid who kisses the girls and makes them cry, which is SUPER AWESOME -- dripping with sarcasm -- he is learning a lot. Mainly a lot of cute songs, but he sings them note for note. Have you ever heard of Plato, Aristotle, Socrates? Morons.
4. I joined a gym and dug out my Pilates mat and I've lost 50 lbs, going from a size 16 to a size 6. I still have 20 lbs to go -- keep in mind that I'm barely 5'1'' with a small build, I don't have unrealistic goals -- but I feel great and am on track for my 'don't die at 58 like your mom' endgame.
5. I am going to see Stoney in a few weeks. We don't know what we'll get up to, but it will involve sexy shoes, a lot of hair tossing and booze. I still call Cityphonelines every night and talk about everything we did all day.
6. I also still read a lot of Harry Potter fanfic. Rodeo got nominated for several awards at some award site a few weeks ago -- let the AU cowboys die, fandom. We watched 'Grimm' and liked it...I still quote Buffy every day...Cityphonelines is writing the SPN recaps at Hey Don't Judge Me and they're hilarious...I watch SPN in syndication at my gym, and that's my fannish life. Oh, and I'm newly obsessed with The Big Bang Theory. And I still watch lots of hockey, mainly the Canucks, the Chicago Blackhawks and the Dallas Stars. Not to mention Oklahoma City's own Barons...we're known for our winter sports, haha.
