HOWDY-HO!

So...long time no love. Sorry about that! I have been incognito. Or trapped under something heavy. Or just hearin' those sleigh bells jinglin', ring-ting-tinglin' too.

Thank you for all the holiday wishes from (I know I'm gonna leave someone out) [livejournal.com profile] ponders_life, [livejournal.com profile] moosesal, [livejournal.com profile] smashsc (Smash! Santa brought me Grease II on DVD! Woot!), [livejournal.com profile] anelith (just finished all the treats! You are loved), [livejournal.com profile] chrisleeoctaves, [livejournal.com profile] entrenous88 (LJ time plus pics - you know my icon addiction! Baby, you're the greatest!) and of course my psychic twin, [livejournal.com profile] stoney321 for the box o' Christmas love. Max has learned a new trick thanks to the treats you sent him - if we say, "Where's your Snowman?!" in sonically insane voices, he'll run nudge his wiener dog nose against the big, plush snowman ornament on the lowest branch. It's freakin' holiday adorable!

My [livejournal.com profile] buffyversetop5 lists are coming soon (have you checked out that comm yet? Pretty sweet - and not just for the multiple "Rodeo" recs. *coughs*) Speaking of Rodeo, got a card from Caza's cowboy aunt & uncle with a mention of cowboy poets. Made me think of all the blog entries and "reviews" of Brokeback Mountain I've read lately that "real" cowboys wouldn't act that way - too "manly" - whatever that means. Come on...what's gayer than cowboy poetry? *Stifles Spike-as-cowboy-poet bunny, on account of how I find English cowboys, you know...funny* Also, to the cowboy fic fans, [livejournal.com profile] uberaeryn wrote a Lost AU - Jack/Sawyer as cowboys. No need to know the canon - total AU - just bring your cowboy love and check out the banner on her side for the requisite visual. Lookin' for Eight.

Checked out my home page to see what's going on in the world and read this soundbite from New Zealander Marianne Davidson, 46, a pilgrim to Bethlehem who stated that she: enjoyed seeing Jesus' birthplace, but felt the local tourism industry has room to improve. She cited high prices, rude waiters and aggressive shopkeepers and taxi drivers. Bethlehem: Inconveniencing travelers since 4 BC.

Happy holidays, Merry Christmas and safe travel to everyone goin' home or elsewhere for the holidays (thinkin' of you, Entre!) and I will have a [livejournal.com profile] ladycat777 in just TWO DAYS!! Ah, Christmakah Wishes!

I also have fic coming soon. It's femslash. You love me, anyway. *g* Seriously, thank you all for another wonderful year in LJ - you guys make me laugh, snorfle and nod knowingly. I adore you. Okay - Caza and Max are dancing around the tree in the giddy dance of capitalistic superiority - so I must go. Holiday hugs and single perfect tears to you all! *mwah!*
