That's a perspective I hadn't really thought about, but I see what you're saying. I think Buffy may be the better fighter, though I don't think that's clear or truly a huge issue in their relationship until IWRY when Angel becomes human, and thus a slower, weaker, more vunerable fighter. BUT, it's possible that if he'd stayed in Sunnydale and their early relationship had continued to play out, that dynamic may have become more apparent. It's interesting to consider, either way. Given that she had to kill him once already, I agree that I don't think she could let him die again, regardless of what that meant.
