Notes: This was probably the very first J2 fic I ever read, because Danny (Winter) and I were friends from Buffy fandom. I know it was one of the first playlist fics. I haven't listened to this in forever, but I remember loving it (and it's so old school now, Jared had an iPod!) and I know that "Crash Into Me" by Dave Matthews is one of the songs, because I always think of J2 when I hear it. This brings back nostalgic feelings of the very early days of pics of the guys on set where would whisper to each other "Is it just me, or do they STARE at each other a lot?"

I really liked the use of Sandy and JDM, and all of the other Cupids, Venuses and assorted muses were colorful background noise.

I don't understand the conflict in Jensen and Jared's relationship. It's convoluted and never seems as big a deal as they're making it. The fic is also rated NC-17, and it's not. I think they manage to give each other each one on scene blowjob. They are interrupted during sex to a LUDICROUS degree. I understand that writing smut is daunting, but after repeated build up only for Mike or Sandy to walk in or Jensen to get the vapors...I would have been happier with a PG-13 college romp.

But Jensen came home after a show and it was two in the morning, it was a Saturday night and Jared waited up for him. He was just sitting there, grinning, and Jensen knew. Anne was pregnant. Knocked up. In the family way. It was done. Anne was going have their kid. It wasn't until that moment that Jensen started freaking out.
Notes: One of my fave kidfics ever (and so old I wasn't even a parent yet when I read it). Actors Jensen and Jared meet on set, fall in love, and then hide their family as Jared stays with the kids and Jensen pursues his career. You can't hide your life forever.

In the last six months, we have totalled our car by hitting a bear, I had mono for most of the fall semester (which was great because we thought I had cancer for awhile), and Josh got COVID. But now we are okay. I am looking forward to six months of absolutely fucking nothing happening.
