LOL - I sometimes feel like this story is the Cliff Notes of how the characters feel about Buffy's death: Xander's pissed! Dawn's sad! Willow's determined! Tara's confused! Spike's...horny!
I would have loved to have written a story that really delved into Willow's goal oriented grief, Tara's unflinching loyalty, Dawn's loss of all "family" and Xander's loss of any kind of meaning. What are they without the Slayer? And as young as they all are, how do they define themselves now - particularly Xander. But...since I don't have the attention span to write that, I have to stick with how loss brought Xander and Spike together and try to focus there. Thanks sweetie, I'm glad you're still reading.
