I have a name thing. They fascinate me. (Anelith is gorgeous, btw.) For some reason that "short for Angelus" line came to me (I used to think about the Angelus bell ringing every time someone would prounounce Angel's name as ANN-gelus, and I'm not even Catholic) and then Alexander...that was just inspired. Hee.
Your impression with the buckle was dead-on. I wanted to get a little more into the competition thing with them, but this was already becoming more of a "story" than I had meant for it to, and I'd really like to finish SMCD someday. Hee!
I *might* do a sequel. I've got SMCD, a Xander ficathon entry that's due by the end of the month that I haven't started, the BtVS Halloween ficathon, I signed up for fall for sx, and I promised secondverse a musical fic. I've got a big mouth. Hah!
