The movie's pretty much getting raves across fandom as well as from critics. I just did a couple posts about Iron Man, but you don't have to have any background to enjoy the movie. And Downey is, so seriously, a revelation. He's NOT the guy who would normally play a hero, but he's absolutely the perfect guy for that character.

I haven't seen the Justice League cartoon yet, but I keep meaning to get to it -- have been watching 'Batman' and 'Teen Titans' on and off for a while.
