The ball is awesome! When I first moved to OKC from the sticks, the Lips were still playing clubs here a bit. I got to seem them (as well as The Chainsaw Kittens and an early version of The Nixons) play more than once on a coin-beer night. OKC's club scene in the early 90s kicked ass, and may still for all I know, since I never go out anymore. Wayne Coyne singlehandedly keeps OKC cool.
